This week has been a very transformative period on every level.
There were some days, I simply did not know how to deal with the emotions that were rising in my gut every second...
For some particular reason, big intense chunk of powerful energy has been shifting around in the last few days that left me dealing with a whole lot of anger, resentment, and jalousie.
Not an easy combo, let me tell ya..
But like any emotion that rises up and knocks on our door every day, I decided it was best to sit with these uncomfortable thoughts and emotion if I wanted to release them and transform this energy into something more nourishing and healthy…
Now, if you ever had to deal with anger and resentment in your life (and I'm pretty sure most of us have at one point or another), you know that these emotions are HOT and INTENSE! Like fire burning everything on it's path...
As I was doing my best to breathe throught these hot feelings trying not to burn everybody and everything on my journey, I read a quote that completely changed my perspective and transformed my energy!!
If we want to cultivate love we need to shift from "expectations to intentions"
In order words, instead of having all kind of unfulfilled expectations that determine our level of well-being depending on other people's behavior, the weather and our boss all of which creates a lot of suffering, we have to lean to set powerful intentions for ourself and others.
Intentions allow us to activate our power and take control of our own happiness..
Another way to look at it is with this simple example: If we except the weather to be perfect for our annual family picnic at the park and it rains the day of the event we might be dealing with a lot of unnecessary frustration that are just outside our control anyway.
But instead, if we set the intention of spending quality time with people we love in the spirit of community and growth, then all of a sudden our mood is uplifted and chances are that it won't be alter even if the rains pours on us that day!
Let me know how the video resonate with you. And also if you feel inspired let me know how you deal with powerful emotions in the comment box bellow. I love reading you.
In love and devotion. I wish you a beautiful week filled with powerful intentions
It's not easy to be silent and sit in stillness. We live in a world were we are over stimulated! There are noises all around us and we are bombarded with a massive amount of information and stimulant everyday: Internet, Facebook, Twitter, TV, trains, buses, work, cars everywhere, stress, deadlines, kids and the list goes on forever!
Living in such an environment can be exhilarating and exciting that's for sure, but over time noises and overstimulation can end up causing a lot of damage to the heart, body and mind.
Our nervous system is so stimulated that we literally get sick (dis-ease) if we don't slow down and cultivate silence regularly.
But yes I agree, it's not easy to stop and be still.
Believe me I know how scary silence can be…
In fact, it used to be impossible for me to sit in silence a decade ago!
Back then, when I stopped and sat it was either to watch tv, sleep (which I use to do a lot in those days ) or read a book, but it was literally impossible for me to sit in silence not DOING anything for just one tiny minute.
My mind would start racing and the pace of the thoughts scared me!
Then I discovered yoga and mediation and my whole life changed. I slowly learned to cultivate silence and create space in my life.
Today, there is not one day when I don't sit in silence for at least 10 minutes. It has become vital for my health and peace of mind.
Every time I need to take a decision, that I get nervous or anxious, I just stop everything that I'm doing for 10 minutes, I breath deeply and sit in silence.
Then magic happens. Right there in the spaces between the words and thoughts lies the answer I am looking for. In the silence of the mind, I can listen to my heart and soul
It never fails me…
10 minutes a day that's all it takes to reboot your internal batteries and re-energized the nervous system. And the good news if you can sit in silence anywhere: your car, the bathroom in your office, your bedroom, the bus, the taxi etc...
So this week I invite you to learn to cultivate silence. if I could learn to do this, anybody can believe me !!
Where can you bring more space into your life? How can you honor yourself and just take a moment to stop, pause, breath, settle down into your heart and take a step back?
Let me know how that resonates with you. Leave a comment I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE reading you…
In love and devotion. SHINE, SHINE, SHINE beautiful one….The world needs you
Today I want to talk about a sensitive issue and a difficult one! Judgment..
There is so much judgment around us. We judge all the time and we are being judge all the time too! At the end it's all quite negative and not very nourishing and loving.
It's easy to judge, but it's not so easy to be judge is it? So, if being judge feels like crap why do we do it to other people?
Here's the thing, we are little creatures of habits and patterns. We are told all the time what to think, how to live, how not to live, what is right, what is wrong and we end up packing up a whole lot of limiting beliefs about how everybody around us should act and what they should do.
We become little judging walking machines.
Now, of course we agree that we all deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. That's not what I'm talking about here. I'm talking about judging someone for their work, education, belief, religion, the color of their skin, the way they eat, dress, dance and the list goes on and on..
See the thing is when we judge others it doesn't say anything about them it just tells us that we need to judge! So the question is why do we need to judge someone ? What does it say about the way we judge ourself and our own life?
Where are we being strict, unloving, stubburn, hurting and living in fear within ourself? How can we release tension and heal past wounds so we can open up to love, compassion, forgiveness and acceptance of ourself and others?
So today I ask you in all honesty, are you a judging freak? Or are you being judged by your own family and friends all the time?
If that's the case please watch the vlog to learn why judging ourself and others is just the poison for the Soul…
Let us learn to love and accept ourself unconditionally so we can learn to love and accept others unconditionally too. Let us thrive from a space of mindful communication instead of a space of unhealthy projection, limiting beliefs and fears…
How can we stop judging and be more loving? How can we forgive the people who judge us and become an example of love and compassion by forgiving them?
Let me know how that resonates with you and leave a comment so we can share a meaningful exchange.
The definition of insanity is to repeat the same actions over and over again and expect different results!
I had an AHAH moment about this last night as I was gobbling a BIG slice of sugar pie while trying to heal a sugar addiction!! Not the best thing to be doing
If you are anything like me, you repeat the same actions over and over again thinking THIS time will be different! Ahhhh and of course it's not because repeating the same behaviors and actions and expecting different results is just pure WAIST of energy not to mention painful and sad....
In order to change a pattern we must absolutely try NEW ways of thinking and being...It's fun and juicy and it can bring so much joy and discoveries..
This week in my blog I invite you to be bold, wild and cheerfully playful and to try something new!!!
Watch the video to learn how to do this and let me know how that resonates with you. Please leave a comment, I love reading you.
Depression can be summarize is two words: repressed emotions.
What does that means? It means that whatever emotions we did not honor and release in the past is bottled up somewhere in our heart, body and mind and is causing us diseases and suffering in our PRESENT life.
Every situation that we label negative or painful in our lives right now is actually an opportunity for us to GROW and to HEAL.
Every difficult situation or negative person we are dealing with today is actually an occasion for us to release repressed emotions and replace them with new nurturing feelings and experiences..
In other words, whatever is making us suffer right now is an OPPORTUNITY given to us from the Universe to finally heal whatever we could not heal in our past!
Isn't that just the GREATEST NEWS EVER!!!
Personally for me, my life starting shifting dramatically once I discovered and understood that vital piece of information a few years ago. I was finally able to start healing my wounds and release all the tension and emotion that were bottled up in my heart and body and causing me great suffering and sadness.
In this week's blog, I share with you in all honesty how to tap into the present moment to heal the past and set yourself free!

SHINE, SHINE, SHINE beautiful Souls..The World needs you...
If your like me, sometimes you compare your life to others and start feeling sorry for your self!..Oh yes you know the good old I'm not good enough mantra still pops into my head once in a while, especially when I'm tired or feeling lonely…
Hopefully, eventually I am reminded that we are ALL unique and we ALL have our own personal talents to share with the world.
It's one thing to look up to somebody we admire for inspiration and guidance, but it's another thing to just start comparing ourselves with others because we think they are better than us.
No one is better than someone else, we are just DIFFERENT…
Every time I get into "the comparison mode" because I feel lonely or sad and I start seeing everybody as better than my self, I just need to stop and pause for a few long deep breaths. Then I ask my self in all honesty: How does that serve you? How does that behavior nourish your Soul? Of course the answer is NO, it's not serving me and it's not nourishing my Soul.
We all have a special talent, mission and dharma (a reason we came back here) and it's our job to shine that special gift onto the World!
But to do so we must learn to LOVE OURSELVES unconditionally and remember that we are ALL unique and talented in our own way.
We are all loved by the Universe and gifted. My intention this week with these beautiful quotes is that you see and CELEBRATE your own uniqueness and beauty.
Find your gift and make it come alive! Love yourself with passion and authenticity. The World needs you!
Today's vlog is about a difficult subject: letting go of people and relationships that are no longer serving us...
Let's face it, it's never easy to let go of people that are not serving us anymore. Often time we try to change so they will love us more, or we think it will become better with time so we stay in all kind of unhealthy relationships and suffer in silence.
Good news folks!!! It doesn't have to be this way.
We do not control how other people love us, but we ALWAYS CONTROL HOW WE LOVE AND RESPECT OURSELVES. So WE get to decide who can live in our sacred heart center...
Today, I invite you in all honesty to look at your life and scan all your relationships. Are they serving you, are they healthy, are they making you feel like a million buck? If not, let them go..
Watch the video to learn more about how to do this....
SHINE, SHINE, SHINE you are a magnificent human being !!!!

Hey beautiful readers and life lovers. I'm back from Bhakti fest in
Madison completely filled with love and devotion, still flying high on
life and Oneness!!
As I was sitting in the plane on my way back
home this past Tuesday, I had time to reflect on the amazing grace of
life when we let if flow according to our own dharma and dreams…
I remembered with great humility how much my life has changed for the
better since I started living a 100% SELF-APPROVED life!!
are like me chances are that at one point or another in your life you
were addicted to other people's opinion. Maybe you are still stuck in
that pattern right now? But don't sweat it beautiful Soul, you are not
I have to admit in all honesty that I was a HUGE love
addict for many years. Always seeking approval from others in order to
fill my self with Self-Worth. Needless to say, that path brought me a
lot of suffering as I was giving my power away to sources outside my own
Then one day, I decided to start trusting my self and
started the best love affair I ever had. I fell madly in love with my
heart!! (not in an egoistic way, but in a healthy spiritual way!) then
magic started to happen and all of a sudden I was able to practice
detachment….AHHHH what a relief
So today in my latest blog I share one of my favorite quote and tell you how to start living YOUR OWN SELF- APPROVED life!
Enjoy the video and if you like it, please subscribe to my you tube channel or the blog so you can get all the yummi updates!
Today I share with you an incredible recipe from Elizabeth my yoga teacher at Naada Yoga in Montreal. It's a SUPER healthy recipe AND the great news is that it's vegan, it's easy to make, it's extra yummi and not cook.
You just need a freezer and 10 minutes of your time.
This is also a really nice recipe to do with kids. They can play with the paste and make different figures before you freeze it. And I don't know about you, but for me there's nothing more fun than to cook with my hands.
So get the nut butter out and have FUN...
Raw Chocolate fudge For about 64 pieces of a square inch (3/4 inch thick)
2 cups of organic almond butter (one 16 oz jar) 1/4 cup cocoa powder or carob powder (sifted) 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of organic maple syrup 1 tablespoon butter coconut 2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon sea salt You can also add walnuts or other nuts for extra taste
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring well. You can also use a mixer but it is more pleasant manually. Pour the mixture into small candy molds, flatten with a spoon and cover with parchment or waxed (a baking tray would work well if you do not mold).
Place in freezer. If using a baking tray, remove from the freezer after about an hour, turn it on a flat surface and cut into squares or rectangles. Keep covered in the freezer (to be firm) where they can be stored for a while of they don’t go really fast !
